Thame Town Hall

Completed in 1888 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria (1887), the Town Hall is a landmark building on Thame High Street. It was designed in Jacobethan style, and has changed little over the last 138 years.

The new Town Hall provided the town with a sizeable public hall for lectures, concerts and meetings of societies, and still provides meeting and event spaces today.

It has been the seat of local government in its various structures since the 1880’s.
