Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice is a national, non-profit organisation. It was founded on 4th September 1939 – the day after the declaration of the Second World War.

Len Webb, former Town Mayor, was instrumental in setting up the Thame bureau, which was opened in 1976.

Citizens Advice provides free, confidential, unbiased and independent advice on issues such as benefits, money, debt, housing, consumer law and health costs and services. Appointments are available both online and in person.
