The house was purchased by the current owners in 1992. They have lovingly restored the house, repairing and exposing as many original features as possible.

Tudor, Elizabethan, Victorian and Georgian fireplaces have been discovered and opened up and a flagstone floor was restored in the old kitchen.

Externally the cement render has been removed, the brick panels repaired, windows restored to their Georgian or Victorian origins, and the porch re-opened.
