We had 87 responses to our housing survey – thank you.
Most respondents live in houses built between 1970-1999, when many homes were built in Thame.

More than 40% have lived in Thame for more than 20 years. Does this show that people want to stay?
Nearly 75% of our respondents live on their own or with just one other person.

Most respondents (despite living on their own or with one other person) live in three-or four-bedroom houses with two or three toilets.

Many of our respondees have made major changes to their homes including new bathrooms, kitchens and extensions.Perhaps this is not surprising when over 40% have lived here for more than 20 years.

Almost all of our respondees have access to an outside space with 86% having a private garden.
57 of our respondees have a garage but only 14 park their cars in them overnight.
15% have an electric car charging point but less than 6% of the UK’s 34 million cars are fully electric, making our respondents very green.
